October in Senior Infants

October has been an exciting month for Senior Infants. We began the month by exploring a new theme in Aistear ‘The Farm.’ We have been busy milking cows, driving tractors and sheering sheep!

Well-Being Week took place 7th October to the 11th October. We loved participating in mindfulness activities and yoga.

Food Dudes has been a huge success in Senior Infants! We are enjoying trying a different fruit and vegetable each day. We have even discovered a love for new tastes of food we didn’t like before!

In Art we explored autumnal scenes and creatures. We discussed hibernation and the physical changes in the season.

‘Paired Reading’ has been a huge success and Ms Moore’s class even made appearance in the local newspaper. Check out the link below to read all about it and see if you spot any familiar faces!
