We have been learning about home grown produce recently. Our class is taking part in the ‘Incredible Edibles’ programme which consists of learning about where our food comes from, how it is grown and even growing fruit and vegetables for ourselves! This week we began by planting strawberry plants. The children really enjoyed active-learning and are closely watching the strawberry plant in the windowsill. We linked the learning to procedure writing genre whereby children wrote a procedure on how to grow strawberry plants. Check out the fun and excitement below!
