Fingal Libraries reached out to the school back in October and invited us to partake in a new outreach scheme that saw hundreds of brand new books distributed free to our school which we are so thrilled about. As part of this pilot scheme, we were invited to pick from a curated list of English and Irish language books, suitable for all ages. Our teachers picked which titles their children might be interested in and we are delighted to say that they have all arrived. Not only have we a range of books but we were given enough so that each child in the classes can have access to a book to read for themselves. Given the range of books, it is safe to say that there will be a lot of reading done in Scoil Chormaic CNS over the coming years. We as a school would like to extend a huge thank you to Fingal Libraries, we are truly grateful that we could be a part of this fantastic scheme. This will help our children become even more interested in reading which we are delighted about.
