Traffic Management Plan for New School

Dear families, The link below shows the Traffic Management Plan for the new school in Stephenstown. Traffic management plan Stephenstown Arrival time There is a strict ‘drop and go’ arrangement for the site at arrival time each morning. Volunteers from the Parents’ Association and teachers will be on hand to usher children from cars and guide them to their line up areas in the playground. There will be two playground entrances – one for Junior Infants to Second classes and one for Third to Sixth classes. Parents should pull into the set down areas, release their children and then depart promptly. Dismissal time At end-of-day dismissal parents should park off campus and walk to collect their children at the school. At this time the set down area will be used for school buses and after-school transportation vehicles only. Volunteers The traffic management arrangements for the new school require significant manpower and we are seeking parent volunteers to help manage this every day. Parents who are in a position to help – and can help from January until June – are asked to sign up at the upcoming Winter Assemblies. The Parents’ Association will have a sign-up area and will ask volunteers for contact details such as a phone number and an email address. A Traffic Management Team will be set up from this group. If you are unable to sign up at a Winter Assembly, please complete this form and someone from the Parents’ Association will be in touch. Thank you.    ...
