New Aistear Topic in Senior Infants

Hi everyone, Our new theme for November will be ‘The Café’. If you have any of the following items at home, we would love to use them during our play: Play kitchen saucepans toy kettle/toaster plastic plates/cups and cutlery play food chef outfit/hat aprons small table/chairs Please label your toys if you wish for them to be returned. Ms. Tracey’s Class on the Farm

On the Farm This month as part of Aistear we are learning all about the farm.  The children have been having lots of fun in our duck pond, our small world farm, our farmyard, and playing our games headbands and Bingo. As part of headbands the children display an farmyard animal on their heads and their partner has to describe the animal without making the animal sounds or saying the name of the animal. The child wearing the animal card then has to guess what animal they are.  This is a great game for oral language and the children really enjoy it.Have a look at more photos of the children enjoying bingo, small world, waterplay and our farm area 🙂 Thank you to parents who sent in farm toys for the children to play with.
