Gaelic football

Gaelic football training is back up and running after the Christmas Holidays. We have had 11 training sessions so far this year. We now have a full squad of 35 children on our panel with an average attendance of 26 at our trainings. These are superb numbers and it is great to see the commitment and dedication being shown by all of the children. Furthermore, they are all improving so much with each week that passes and all their practice and hard work at the skills of the game is really paying off!  The Fingal League will be starting in the next couple of months and we will be hoping to build on our experience in the competition from last year! We have our first challenge game of the year on Thursday next the 19th January @3pm vs Bracken ETNS in O’ Dwyers Astro pitch. This pitch is located down the lane beside Cocoon Childcare. It is behind Bremore Castle and St Molaga’s National School. We will bring all of the players as there will be two pitches set up and we can hopefully give them all a game. All parents are welcome to come and support! The children are to be collected after the game from O’ Dwyers Astro pitch at 4pm sharp on Thursday.
